● Collaborated with TeleFilm Canada in the preparation of the film project “Soul Hunter”.
● Engaged as producer in pre-production and filming of the French-Turkish co-production entitled “Woman of Water”.
1993-1997:
● General Manager and Producer of the Macedonian film company “Vardar Film”. Responsible for the development, oversight and production of 20 documentaries, 5 cartoons and the following feature films:
➢ “Before the Rain”, a co-production with British Screen, Polygram, and Noe Production and winner of more than 30 international awards, including the “Golden Lion” at the Venice Film Festival and Academy Award nomination for best foreign film;
➢ “Garbage on the Field”, (feature and TV series) a Bulgarian co-production
➢ “Across the Lake”, a Macedonian-Polish co-production and winner of the Sarajevo Film Festival Award;
➢ “Gypsy Magic”, a Macedonian-French co-production with participation of the CNC French Film Fund, screened world-wide and winner of the Montpelier Grand Prix;
➢ “Felix”, a French, Slovenian and Macedonian co-production;
➢ “Night”, a premier film partnership between Albania and Macedonia originated through my personal initiative and starring Albanian and Macedonian actors;
● In 1995 chaired the board of the International Camera Film Festival “Manaki Brothers ” in Bitola, Macedonia.
● In 1996 responsible for setting up and providing film services to Dream Works SKG, for their first motion picture “the Peacemaker”, and to Miramax for “Welcome to Sarajevo”, both filmed on locations in Macedonia.
1979-1993:
● Employed in “Jadran Film”, Zagreb, Croatia. Held a number of positions starting from runner, third assistant director, location manager, assistant production manager, first assistant director, production manager and producer. In these capacities, collaborated closely with major motion picture and television studios such as: MGM, Paramount, Twentieth Century Fox, ABC, NBC, RAI, CANALE+.
● Worked on numerous feature films and TV series filmed in: Croatia, Former Yugoslavia, Europe, Central Asia, and the United States. Some of the projects I was engaged in included: “Sophie’s Choice”, “The Winds of War“, “War and Remembrance”, “The Dirty Dozen”, “The Dictator”, “Garibaldi”, “Walenberg”, “Manifesto”, “Mother Theresa”, “Un Foro del Parabrezzo”, “Riders Through the Storm”, “The Company”, “A Night for Love”, “Armour of God”.
● Produced the documentary “Winter of the Summer Villas”, Grand Prix recipient for best production at the 1991 Media Save Art Festival in Rome.
● During the war in Croatia, filmed a series of documentaries titled “After the Barbarians” about protected historical and cultural monuments in Dubrovnik.
